The Council of Organizations of the Ateneo, or COA for short, is Ateneo de Manila University’s confederation of accredited organizations. Currently, there are 49 organizations within the council—all of them passionate about what they do. The council is divided into nine clusters, with each cluster addressing a particular niche and field. Each organization boasts of competent leaders and members who are, without a doubt, good at what they do. Each organization takes pride in a unique core competency, one that it hones and develops within its members to the fullest. In COA, we value dedication and competency. The COA Executive Board, composed of the President (Ken Abante), Chief-of-Staff (Joseph Teoxon), Secretary-General (Suzie Barba), Finance Officer (Eldridge Tan), Vice President for Organizational Research and Development (Irwin Amago), VP for Training and Development (Denzel Dy), and VP for Special Projects (Charla Tsoi), work hand-in-hand with the organizations to ensure that the council is representing and forming the orgs to the best of its abilities. Together with the Executive Board, nine Cluster Heads and nine Secretary-Treasurers make up the COA Central Board. These people work closely with the org presidents and representatives to make sure that the organizations can offer their best to the Ateneo community. In COA, we believe that in doing what we do best—and with a lot of heart. We may come from different interests and fields, but we all bring something new to the table. We are forever in search of new members, new blood to orient to the different cultures of the Ateneo. Members are the driving force of organizations, and we believe that by allowing these members to grow in our organizations, we are forming future leaders and pacemakers. We engage in our passions and this is how we build our nation. Copyright © 2011 Council of Organizations of the Ateneo | Base theme by Kisty | Modified by COA Central
